About Kari Paine Photography

Kari is a documentary-style film and digital photographer who specializes in queer weddings. In her words: "I picked up a camera in 2014 and never looked back. After my first year, a friend asked if I could photograph their wedding following the Obergefell decision. As a queer person myself, getting to capture the love between queer people was when I knew I had found my home in the world of photography. My mission is to capture images that authentically show what it means to be queer, in all its wonderful and messy ways." 

"My goal as a photographer is to create artful images that authentically show your relationships and capture all the smiles, messiness, and weirdness. I want you to empty your mind of every wedding thing you’ve seen on social media and together we can construct a wedding day that meets your needs and values.
