Built in 1933 as a United States Post Office, the newly renovated historic Federal Building has transformed into an innovative Art Center, while retaining its original architectural beauty. Complete with Neoclassic Revival style columns made of Florida Key limestone, the building attracts visitors who marvel at its stunning architechture, complete with walls embedded in sea-shells and coral formations. Featuring a spectacular two-story Grand Atrium and Reception Area, a Conservatory, grand chandeliers, and a marble staircase, the Art Center is the perfect location for a variety of events. The Grand Atrium and Conservatory with Lobby's measures approximately 10,000 square feet with attractive, newly renovated restrooms and full access to those with disabilities. Larger groups find the unique layout perfect for proms, weddings, or galas. For a hands-on art experience the rooms also accommodate larger groups, provide VIP space, or create an intimate lounge.
