Alex will work with you and your planner to build a timeline that allows space for portraits, family photos, and all the in-between moments without ever feeling rushed. We factor in location, lighting, travel time, and the natural flow of your day so everything stays smooth and stress-free.
We take a hybrid approach.
The family portraits are handled with clear direction and efficiency so no one is left waiting around. Once those are complete, we shift into a more documentary style — capturing the natural moments, reactions, and emotions that unfold organically. The result is a gallery that feels clean, honest, and beautifully balanced.
We plan for everything. Whether it’s full sun, overcast skies, or unexpected rain, Alex knows how to work with any conditions to create beautiful imagery. Some of our favorite portraits ever were taken on rainy days — soft light, romantic textures, and a mood you simply can’t manufacture. We always create a clear backup plan with your planner so the experience stays calm and seamless.
