H! I’m Anabelle LaGuardia, owner of Anabelle Makeup. I’m a native New Yorker, born in NYC, and a professional makeup artist of 25 years. I specialize in natural glam makeup for weddings, special events, proms, and makeup lessons, but you can also find me working on photo and video shoots. 

If I had to choose only two makeup products to survive on, it would be my brow pencil and blush. A well-groomed brow frames the eye. A peachy pink blush on anyone adds some perk to the complexion.

I became a makeup lover, watching my gorgeous mother meticulously apply her makeup. I have always loved to paint, and experimenting with my mother’s makeup became another artistic outlet at which I discovered I was naturally good. After working various soul-sucking corporate desk jobs after college, I took a leap of faith, enrolled in a makeup school in NYC, and landed my first job at a makeup studio in NYC.

I love being a problem solver, helping clients understand how to work with their features in realistic, manageable, and understandable ways. In a social media world saturated with makeup trends, I show women that makeup is not a one-size fits all scenario and doesn't need to be complicated. I love sharing with my clients the empowerment makeup brings, as we all deserve to be empowered while looking and feeling like an elevated version of ourselves.
