“From the first phone call, to an in-person meeting, and final detail call before our wedding, it was a pleasure to work with Aprea Media. My now husband was resistant to having a photographer so we agreed to take a majority of the couple and group portraits prior to the ceremony/reception. Every combination that we requested was captured. Sarah and John adjusted on the fly when we realized the hotel was too dimly lit for the type of photos we wanted and found an alternate outside location with partial cover to keep us dry from the morning rain.

We were blown away by the quality and detail they captured, from the wedding ceremony to all of the candid's of our family and friends dancing/at the reception. My husband has stated multiple times after viewing the photos that he is glad we got a photographer and could not believe the quality.

Sarah also helped design our custom photo "thank you" cards. The quality is superior and we have gotten many compliments on them! Thank you so much, Sarah and John!!”

“My husband and I hired Aprea Media, aka Sarah and John, to be our photographers for our wedding. Their package came with an engagement photo session, which we did shortly after hiring them. The engagement session was so much fun! We went to the place we had our first date, LA Burdick, and Sarah captured so many cute photos of us drinking hot chocolate together. We then walked around Cambridge and had some really fun impromptu photos at a flower shop. We loved the engagement photos so much we used them on our save-the-dates and incorporated them into the wedding decor!

It was so awesome having Sarah and John both capture all of our special moments on the day of the wedding, from getting ready (BOTH me and my husband have a bunch of awesome getting ready photos!), our first look and portraits before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, cocktail hour, reception festivities, and incredibly artistic details shots. They are both so much fun and offer cute suggestions for poses, but they also go with the flow if you have fun ideas you want to try! We got a lot of really sweet unplanned photos throughout the night. I didn't know anything about different photography styles before we hired them (we just liked their work and they were super friendly), but they really are so experienced with candid/documentary style photography. We love having photos where we can see all the sincere emotions on our faces from laughing, crying with joy, and pure bliss, in addition to our more posed portrait-style photos. Sarah's editing is so dreamy across all our engagement and wedding photos. We now have our walls at home covered in their photography - they did such an amazing job capturing all the fun parts of our day! As a really sweet bonus, they recorded video of our first dance and ceremony upon our request, along with a lot of fun highlights that we get to watch to relive the memories now. We truly can't recommend them enough!!!”

“Sarah and John were a great fit for us and they did an excellent job capturing our wedding.

Sarah came down to Providence for our engagement shoot and really took the lead to make sure we had a good variety of poses, backdrops, and lighting and then she put everything in a shutterfly to let us choose what we wanted.

When it came to the wedding she and John did a great job of communicating what they needed us to prepare, and also asking us what we wanted things to look like and what our must-haves were. On the day of the wedding they did a great job of wrangling us and our guests to make sure that the must-have shots were right and that there would be multiple ones to choose from to ensure a perfect picture. We also appreciated that after we gave them some general direction they were able to use their experience to direct us to get the best shots and allow us to not have more decisions to make.

Sarah and John did a great job for us and having two photographers working together to capture photos, stage photos, and help get people where we wanted them was one of the best choices we made.”

“Sarah and John were the absolute BEST to work with! From day one, they were so clear in their communication and kept us informed and we knew they understood our needs for our photographers. When it came to the day of, they were nothing short of incredible! Sarah and John were able to work with both of us individually before, and capture amazing angles for the best photos possible. They were also incredible about making my disabled mother in law being seamlessly included in the photos as it is difficult for her to stand. They made us feel comfortable, and captured everything we wanted without us even noticing they were around. Would absolutely recommend them, and we plan to use them for any photographed events in the future!”
