Hello! Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a bit better!I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where I currently live with my two rescue pups, Max and Hurley. My artistic background is quite diverse; I was a dancer for 13 years and competed many of those years, have taken music lessons since I was 5 and have found myself to be attached to a camera since high school. So to say that I'm passionate about the arts is an understatement! My best friend moved to Switzerland our freshman year of high school and visiting her began my fascination with not only photography, but food, foreign languages, travel and people. I could sit for hours and listen to someone share about their culture and personal stories, there is nothing I enjoy more than getting to know someone! Really, I never meet a stranger! During college, my passion for travel and learning about others grew and I spent the majority of my time overseas, studying in the small East German town of Weimar, Paris and Oxford, making many new friends along the way. These experiences, combined with many others, have made it very easy for me to converse and relate with nearly anyone. In 2007, a girlfriend insisted I photograph her wedding and thus my first wedding was on the books! (Thanks again Michelle!!) I really wasn't sure what I would think, feel or expect from this experience but to my surprise, I absolutely fell in love. Fell in love with sharing stories, fell in love with experiences with people, over food, various languages, traveling to beautiful locations and fell in love with learning and taking part in others wonderful cultures. . . . sound familiar?! and from that moment on have pursued wedding photography in some form. I photographed mostly close friends weddings till May of 2009 when I officially started Brittany Nicole Photography. My affinity to the arts and passion for people has made wedding photography a perfect outlet for me! I couldn't be happier than being honored with the opportunity to be a part of such an intimate occasion in two people coming together in love. I love watching daughters with their dads, sons with their mothers and entire groups of family and friends, forgetting the hustle and bustle of life for just one night, to celebrate love, in so many unique forms. At the end of the day, it's the people in my life that make any experience memorable. That's my aim for each of my clients, to be the right person to share in their unique wedding experience!
