Connection is what drives my work. Real moments surface quietly, when people feel comfortable and seen. It's in those in-between spaces where the emotional truth of a day actually lives. I photograph people the way I see them, with patience and a curiosity for what makes them unique. I'm Daniela Garza Maldonado, a New York City–based photographer with over 15 years of experience photographing weddings, families, and portraits. Originally from Mexico, inspired by the masters of painting and cinema, and trained at the International Center of Photography, I bring an editorial artistic eye and a documentary approach to every shoot.
