Hello!My name is Melissa Desjardins, I enjoy making people feel comfortable and look fabulous and I will go the distance to get that photo and ensure your vision is captured whatever the occasion may be. My photographic style is unobtrusive and natural, my images beautifully simple, clean, and modern. Photography became a passion of mine when I took a photography class during High School. I was unaware that my days developing film in the darkroom would ever lead to a career until attending the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography. I now live in Richmond VA, but will always be a New England gal at heart since I was born and raised in New Hampshire. Years of professional photographic experience combined with artistic vision and attention to detail has given me the confidence and know how to provide you with precious moments frozen in time. These photos that come alive with color and emotion will be there to share with generations to come. When I am not photographing Weddings, you will find me rooting for the New England Patriots, drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee, walking my dog Capone, eating chocolate, volunteering for the local SPCA, or training for my next running race!
