Hi, I'm Kate Taylor. I live in beautiful Rhode Island and I'm a full time wedding photographer.

My lifelong passion for art and design developed into Polar Square Designs while I was studying for my BA in Fine Art at the University of Rhode Island. The business started out as a side hustle and then in 2014, I made it my full time job. It was the scariest chance I have ever taken, but I never looked back and I am so glad to be where I am today. I am able to balance my business, a happy and busy personal life with my family, and I get to work with the best clients ever.

I photograph weddings primarily in Rhode Island and southern New England, but I'm also available for travel. My style is a mix of posed and documentary, with an emphasis on real moments. I use a lot of prompts in my portraits to capture genuine reactions and expressions. 

My style is true to life, with vibrant and accurate colors. I deliver a mix of color and black and white images to clients. 

I love my job because it's always an adventure, it challenges me and allows me to be creative!
