About The Catered Affair is the Caterer for The Harvard Art Museums

The Harvard Art Museums comprise three museums—the Fogg, Busch-Reisinger, and Arthur M. Sackler Museums—and four research centers, including the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, a world leader in fine arts conservation, research, and training. Works from all three museums have been brought together in a stunning new facility at 32 Quincy Street, designed by award-winning architect Renzo Piano. This state-of-the-art facility seamlessly combines the Fogg Museum’s landmark 1927 building with a striking contemporary addition, all under a breathtaking glass roof that bridges old and new. For more than a hundred years, the Harvard Art Museums have encouraged students, faculty, and the public to engage in critical looking and thinking through original works of art. Like the great university that surrounds us, teaching, learning, and research are at the core of the museums’ mission. Time and time again, one name garners recognition as New England’s best-loved catering and event design company- The Catered Affair. Clients have experienced the myriad of details that distinguish The Catered Affair as the company of choice for weddings, corporate events and conferences. Founder Holly Safford points with laser-like focus to three elements that have proven to drive success: brilliant food, flawless service, and stunning venues. And now, with the backdrop of the magnificent renovation and expansion of the Harvard Art Museums, The Catered Affair is once again raising the bar in a setting of historic importance. Experience how our owners Holly, Alex and Andrew; our Executive Chef and his culinary team; our design team; and our wait staff can elevate your event.
