About Last Light Studio
Founded in 2014 originally as Two Of Us Photography, Last Light Photography is the product of a traditional wedding photography education combined with years of documentary and photojournalism experience, with a big helping of artistic style and a love of capturing the most exciting moments in peoples’ lives.
I founded Last Light Photography to honor the special qualities of light that each time of day brings, along with the mission of creating a photographic testimony that will last a lifetime. I use a combination of film and digital photography throughout each wedding I photograph to capture the all the different feelings of your wedding day.
I am a second-generation wedding photographer who spent eight years apprenticing with my parents before I began photographing weddings on my own. Before becoming a full-time wedding photographer, I was a staff photojournalist for the photo-centered Valley News in New Hampshire for six years. I also continue to provide freelance services to local and national publications, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Seven Days, Vox, and others.
I live in the mountains of Central Vermont with my husband, Jeff, our daughter, Lila, rescue puppy Arlo, and two Icelandic horses. I love planning and maintaining my big cut flower garden, finding new swimming holes, riding horses with friends, and having spontaneous dance parties with my family.
Since I started my wedding business in 2014, getting to know each client closely, capturing unusual light and interesting moments, and constantly improving the quality of work we produce has been my passion, and I’m so grateful to love every part of what I do.
