About Desierto Azul

Desierto Azul is a dream come true for a Mexican-Italian family, who decided to create a space embracing privacy and charm in harmony with the Baja California Sur's desert ecosystem. 

It was around 2015 when the idea of a little boutique hotel arose. A few years went by and the idea evolved into a hospitality concept based on healthy and wholesome eating, also thanks to a period of time they spent in San Francisco, where they embraced a healthier lifestyle. In 2020 Desierto Azul started to be built in one of the most beautiful magic towns of Mexico, Todos Santos, Baja California Sur.

The property has a conscious and minimalistic design, and was built with mostly local materials and local craftsmen. Fabrizio Cavallo, Co-Owner, followed the design project and created a unique venue both in essence and personality.

November 17th, 2021 was the opening day for our 4-room hotelito featuring a Desert Garden, infinity pool and a barefoot terrace where our guests can enjoy healthy and plant-based breakfast every morning. By the end of 2022 we launched our Plant-Based Cooking Studio, which teaches our eager students to return to basics, eat as we should, lead by Nilu Feregrino, Co-Owner and Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. Our last addition to Desierto Azul's philosophy is PanVero, our Whole Bakery. Nested in the Cooking Studio this is Nilu's newest project to provide healthy treats to our community and guests.

Our minimalistic and organic space is designed to let the stunning nature of the Baja desert shine in any celebration. Nestled in a small cactus arroyo (dry canal) we offer a sustainable and conscious option for those who want to connect with their friends and family through an unforgettable event! Whether it is an intimate wedding celebration or a special event, our mission is to make you experience the unique atmosphere of Todos Santos and take care of your needs at all time!

Our venue is ideal for intimate and small events of up to 40 people. The boutique hotel on site can host a maximum of 11 people within the 4 available units. Please feel free to contact us for more information and a quote.

THE VENUE

Immersed in a small cactus valley, Desierto Azul is a 4-room boutique hotel, cooking studio, whole plant-based bakery and event space, where guests can experience the beauty of Baja in harmony with nature.

With a sustainable essence and an organic minimalist design, Desierto Azul is a little oasis between the desert and the ocean.

Our venue is ideal for intimate and spontaneous celebrations, casted away from the crowded all inclusive resorts.

It features an infinity pool overlooking the desert, an organic bar, a plant-based cooking studio, a whole plant-based bakery, and lots of charming corners to take memorable pictures.

It is walking distance from a virgin beach with beautiful sunsets and a short drive to the town of Todos Santos.

The average time for the events at the property is 5 hours, within you may have a pre-ceremony reception, the ceremony, toast, dinner and party as your request. Each celebration at the property must end by 10:00pm, being respectful to the neighbors.

Desierto Azul does not have a restaurant, therefore any catering options must be arranged by an external vendors.

ACCOMMODATION

Our little hotelito features 4 rooms ready for you and your close ones, with the possibility to host an event up to 40 guests. Our venue provides both the intimate ambience and the beauty of the desert.

We might arrange the space for your Elopement | Wedding at the part of the property that you decide, looking forward to meet the best charming space for amazing photos, either with your close relatives or all of your guests.
