About Fremont Foundry

154 N 35th Street, Seattle, Washington 98103

The building which now houses Fremont Foundry Events was opened in 1981 as a hub for Fremont's eclectic artist community and played a special part in Seattle's art focused counterculture. Some of Seattle's most famous (and infamous) statues were brought to life here. This is where the Jimi Hendrix statue was created by Daryl Smith in 1997 before being moved to Capitol Hill, and Fremont's continually controversial Vladimir Lenin statue, brought from Slovakia in 1989, was actually reconstructed. The building morphed with the times and people who lived, worked and created public, private and communal art within the artist colony that spanned over three decades. Add to the history with your event.

Have your ceremony in our sky-lit atrium with a 20-ft ceiling while drinks are being prepared in our café lit outdoor courtyard. Or share your vows on the rooftop terrace with sweeping views of North Seattle before moving everyone downstairs for a sit down dinner. Combining the venue's distinct spaces provides the opportunity to create a dynamic experience for your guests. Mix and match for an experience that reflects the day you have always imagined. Our inventory of banquet tables and chairs are included with your rental, in addition to 10 hour day-of venue access, and on-site personnel.

Fremont Foundry also offers a complimentary logistic meeting, a one-hour wedding rehearsal, computer assisted floor planning, use of our in-house professional sound and lighting system, and wireless internet connection.
