About The High Line Hotel
Dating back to 1895, The High Line Hotel has been host to some of New York City's most unique and memorable events. Its 60 rooms, suites, and event spaces are carved out of the red-brick General Theological Seminary complex, a registered Manhattan landmark on Tenth Avenue at 20th Street in Chelsea. The crown jewel of The High Line Hotel is the Refectory, a 3,300-square-foot cathedral-like, Gothic paneled hall reached by an immense baronial marble staircase. It soars four stories to a gabled, gilt roof, complete with minstrels' gallery and towering windows. Unlike any event space in New York City, The High Line Hotel's Refectory has been host to A-list film premieres and after parties, society weddings, and intimate dinners and cocktail receptions. Its flexible interior space is also enhanced by a variety of pre- and post-event function rooms that allow for easy flow and private lounges in addition to a main event.
