About Adam Lerner Weddings
I live in New York City and Northwest CT with my wife and our two rescue dogs. I am a commercial lifestyle and wedding photographer.
My creative journey began when I spent a decade touring the country with my indie rock band, The Booda Velvets. While on tour I was always taking photos with my dad’s old Pentax film camera and a Polaroid SX70.
During this time, my passion for documentary style photography was born and after touring I traded the guitar for the camera and haven’t looked back. Drawn to story telling, my photojournalistic approach to wedding photography is all about the special moments and emotions. As a husband and dog father, I strongly believe in marriage and easily get caught up in documenting weddings through photography. I have a passion for analog whether it be film photography or classic cars and that old-school passion has always shaped the vision of my work.
