Topu Lyo and Randy Bergida founded New York Ceremony Music to provide a sophisticated acoustic alternative to traditional wedding music. With over 25 years of collaboration, the duo specializes in a signature sound built on the intimate interplay of cello and nylon string guitar. With over two decades of experience, we manage the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to ensure a seamless flow throughout the day.

For the highest level of personalization, Topu and Randy offer the Soundtrack Wedding Ceremony. This offering evolves the Custom Arranged Song into a permanent musical legacy. Through the NYCM Originals record series, the duo composes a suite of original music written exclusively for a couple’s story. These original works are professionally recorded for use in wedding films and social media, premiered live during the ceremony, and available as a custom-cut vinyl keepsake.

Based in Brooklyn, we perform throughout the Hudson Valley and the Hamptons. We also travel for destination weddings in Los Angeles, Italy, Mexico, and worldwide, bringing 25 years of technical mastery to every celebration.
