About Alexis Ansell Makeup Artisty

Alexis Ansell is a talented and creative professional makeup artist with experience in all aspects of media makeup including fashion, video and print. After graduating with a B. S. in Textiles Apparel and Merchandising from the University of West Virginia, Alexis freelanced for multiple cosmetic companies including Trish McEvoy and Scott Barnes. Alexis wanted to get a greater understanding of all aspects of the cosmetic industry. She then spent three years in the Education and Public Relations departments at the corporate headquarters of Bobbi Brown and Prescriptives in New York. From this experience, she realized that her true passion was to harness her creative energy and become a full-time professional makeup artist. She attended Make-Up Designory in New York to build on and refine her skills. She graduated in June 2010. Alexis' diverse background and experience enables her to customize every client's individual style. This ability is a credit to her artistic talent. She has an innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of her clients.
