We are the Smiths - Amy and Jackson. Two photographers who met, fell in love, and got married right here in Charlottesville (the wedding capital of the east coast!) We are a team and do all our work together. We love shooting weddings and often wonder how we got so lucky to be doing this job. The people we get to know and the moments we are able to witness are the best parts of it.

We like to shoot in a way that shows your true personalities and captures the emotions of your friends and family - whether you’re laughing, crying, hugging, dancing - we want to tell the story. We document the big moments, but also the small ones in-between. Those little details and sweet things that happen so quickly. As far as the look of the images, we aim to edit them in a way that’s timeless - so when you look back on your pictures in 20 years, you’re brought right back to the day like it was yesterday.
