My name is Jane and I’m a watercolor artist from New York.
I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My first interaction with watercolors happened when I was a kid, and it was love from first brush stroke. Later, I graduated from a four-year program at art school and made it through painting a lot of wax pears, apples, and a gypsum skull we called George.I ended up taking a different career path right after art school and only painted as a hobby every now and then. But when everyone’s favorite virus turned the world upside down in 2020, I decided that it was time to come back to what I truly love. While everyone else was baking bread, I bought myself a set of watercolors. My first art store was dreamed up at a kitchen island in a tiny New York apartment. And that’s how it all began.
And now I am here excited and honored that you are considering me for painting something very special for you!
