About Derby Mill Farm Botanicals

Hello, friend. 

At Derby Mill Farm, we are the farmers & the florists. We are sisters who grew up in Kent County, DE, just south of Dover, and after years away, have moved back to the Delmarva region. We are in our 4th season of flower farming in the field where we grew up, and have found we are drawn to wedding work. We love the creativity and connecting with brides and grooms whose whose love of nature's beauty will be a focal part of their celebration. Specailty-cut annuals and native perennials share space in our bouquets and floral items, and together create a unique vibe.

We grow sustainably and regeneratively, with a keen focus on our farm's ecosystem. No chemicals, no fertilizers. Flowers and botanicals you can feel good about - grown here, not flown here. We take the same approach in our wedding work. We use natural materials as much as possible. There are so many ways to forgo floral foam and the ensuing microplastics. 

We offer a variety of options for all bugets. DIY buckets, the A' La Carte approach, and Full-Service Florals. Truly, something for everyone.
