HI, I'M DEREK!

I am based in Knoxville, Tennessee and photograph weddings throughout the Smoky Mountains, Knoxville and Eastern United States. I grew up in a town not far from Boston and moved to Tennessee in the summer of 2016, so that my wife could attend Medical School. Prior to our move, I photographed weddings throughout New England for six years.

My wife completed Medical School in 2020 and just prior to her finishing up school, we decided to call Knoxville home for the foreseeable future. We are blessed with two amazing children, Aubrey and Jacob, who are my everything. Topping out the crew is our Golden Retriever named, Cooper, and Corgi named Penny.

I am currently in my 13th year photographing weddings. I have had the distinct pleasure of capturing over 650 weddings all over the United States, Italy, and Mexico. I am also a Smoky Mountain Wedding Photographer with a current license to photograph weddings, elopement and adventure sessions in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I recently obtained my FAA Drone Pilot License (Part-107), which authorizes me to capture aerial photo and video footage for commercial purposes, which I have added as an add on package for wedding couples.
