Gisela the owner and baker at Dessert Designs by Gisela. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, then later raised in Oxnard, California. In 2015, she graduated with a Culinary Arts degree while pregnant with twin boys! After a lot of thinking, Gisela ultimately made the big decision to move from one coast to the other. A week after settling into Charleston she gave birth to hey two boys who are now 6 years old! The desire of starting her own business and following in Gisela‘s parents entrepreneurial footsteps came to be in early 2017 when Dessert Designs by Gisela was born. Dessert Designs by Gisela is a licensed and insured home-based food production in Summerville, SC operating under the South Carolina Cottage Law. Gisela love’s being able to create "edible art" completely from scratch and really bring it to life.
