I’m Cassidy Harrison, owner of Flour & Flourish. My love of wedding cake started with the first one I made back in 2009 while attending culinary school. At Flour & Flourish, I bake all my cakes and make all my buttercream with BUTTER. I never use shortening in my baked goods, and I never will. Butter has flavor. Shortening is flavorless. I’ve had the pleasure of being featured in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, which is one of my proudest moments.
