So here is my spiel, I graduated from art school in 2010, with a warped sense of the business world. I found myself in the all too familiar place of hunting for a job and sort of stumbled upon the stationery business. I was working at a copy center in union square, when I was inadvertently instructed to begin working one day a week at their affiliate stationery store. That one day was the most coveted of my week. You could say I was hooked on paper from that point on, and began my employment rotation around the city and it's boroughs to several different stationery shops. With the vast knowledge that I have acquired from these amazing learning experiences I set out on my own. Currently, I live in Jersey City with my boyfriend, who likes to wear my socks. We have a black pug puppy named Roxy who insists her we-we pad is a cape. I am obsessed with reading seedy romance novels. My favorite person to schmooze with on my morning commute is my mom. And getting the mail is NOT a choir for me. We look at stationery as a chance to make a Postal Worker and recipient smile by giving them something beautiful and unique and NOT a bill in their mailbox.
