About Jen Huang

Jen Huang approaches photography with a romantic, fine art sensibility. Her imagery is understated yet evocative, resulting from clear and polished creative direction that elicits light-filled, painterly portraits. Her use of fresh and simple composition, and natural light has evolved from a deep love and respect for the art and craft of shooting film. Jen has been featured on the covers of numerous international bridal publications, including Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country Weddings, Brides Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart, The Boston Globe and New York Magazine. ÜJen is a dedicated medium format film photographer, and shoots wedding and editorial work on location all over the world. She has been named a top photographer by Martha Stewart Weddings, and has received accolades from Rangefinder Magazine, PDN and the Framed Network. Jen has been teaching workshops for several years on the art and craft of shooting film. In 2012, Jen released her first book, "A Guide to Fine Art Wedding Photography," along with her Workshop-in-a-Box Styling Kit. In 2017, she released the second edition of her book as well as a reference guide series on natural and expressive portraiture and composition. She has spoken at conferences such as WPPI and PhotoPlus on behalf of sponsors: FujiFilm, Richard Photo Lab and Heirloom Bindery. She continues to teach and speak at collaborative events and workshops globally. Jen lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, two children, and her french bulldog Gatsby.
