About Jennings King Photography

A love of photography has been an important part of my life since age 8. From taking friend pictures in high school, to events in college and then even weddings Ò the year I attended and photographed 13 of my friends' weddings Ò I discovered that I loved capturing moments that focus on the emotion and essence of a wedding day. I happily transitioned from amateur to professional photographer in 2011. Both a creative background in Printing and Design from Clemson University and employment in printing and pharmaceutical sales led me to and prepared me for my dream career of photography. I shoot with a classic style to create timeless images that will be treasured for generations. I love getting caught up in the details with 'my brides. ' They tell me that my bubbly personality and attention to details encourages them to share their excitement with me. Receptions are one of my favorite parts of the day because of the energy and love displayed. If the band happens to play 'Proud Mary,' you may see a Tina Turner 'wannabe' holding a camera and shaking her hips while shooting. . . A bride myself only a few years ago, I love reminiscing about that wonderful, dizzy day of our wedding. With the fabulous pictures from that day, I can see (and feel) the laughter and joy; I am transported back to that moment in time. My most emotional and memorable times of that day were the post ceremony beach time with my brand new husband and the 'Celebration' dance with my Daddy. I currently call Charleston home with my husband Brennen & son Miller.
