I’m Jess—a documentary and editorial photographer with a deep love for preserving what’s real: the moments that elevate each celebration beyond the expected. With over a decade of experience and a background shaped by the arts and horsemanship, I bring a thoughtful, intuitive approach to wedding photography. Using both film and digital, I create imagery that is rich in texture and grounded in feeling—quietly cinematic, emotionally resonant, and true to each couple.

My work is rooted in observation: the subtle glances, the shifting light, the ephemeral moments that pass quickly but leave a lasting imprint. I’m here to help you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt. Based in Minnesota (currently, but looking at relocating to NC) and PNW with Southern roots, I photograph celebrations across the Southeast, Washington and beyond.
