Wedding and child portrait photography are my specialty and the source of my passion. I have shot weddings around the world and love the adventure and challenge that travel photography bring to my life. I currently reside in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley with my husband and our son. I am a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA with a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Photography-Portraiture. This education along with years of experience allow me to shoot exclusively with film using mainly natural light. It is this talent of mine that sets me apart from other photographers. Weddings- Watching two people join their lives together, is always a special experience. As a photographer, I feel honored to capture the predictable, as well as the unexpected moments that make the day unique to each couple. Recording the story of a wedding day, the unforgettable moments, the interaction of family and friends, the small details, the candid glimpses, the tears and laughter-all these, I whole-heartedly bring my unique vision to. Whether the wedding is local or on-location somewhere around the world, it is a privilege to be part of such a cherished time in others' lives. Children- Indeed one of the most precious of all gifts are children. I know this very well being a mother myself. I also realize just how fast those childhood moments pass us by, and the importance of saving them through imagery. I feel very comfortable photographing children of all ages. Weather it's a newborn with their delicate soft skin, and their tiny features, or an older child- truely the funniest people on earth- I embrace the excitement that working with children can bring.
