For over 15 years, this on-location expert Make-up + Hair Team, founded by Celebrity Make-up Artist Tara Dowburd, is known for creating timeless and refined beauty looks, ranging from elevated natural chic to soft modern glam. In addition to celebrity + high-end weddings, Tara and her Team's work have been seen on countless red carpets and in dozens of magazines + blogs. 
They are LA based and travel worldwide for their clients, who want to look + feel their prettiest, for their wedding and milestone celebrations.

Inspired as a young girl by the pages of Vogue and Bazaar, Tara took her love for fashion + beauty to the University of Arizona, where she earned her BA in Fashion Merchandising and then became a head Make-up Artist for 7 1/2 years with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and then 2 1/2 years with Shu Uemura. Over those 10 years, Tara also freelanced on her own, taking care of clients for major celebrity events, high-end weddings, tv + press appearances, fashion shows, and photo-shoots. Continuing her road to success, Tara realized that her attention to detail and passion for the art of beauty made her more than just your average Make-up Artist. She was also creating a therapeutic experience for clients. It was then, that she was inspired to create and dynamic Team and start her own company, naming it Make-Up Therapy.
