About Marisa Romagnuolo Photo

I create photos as an outlet for all of my artistic energy. I would describe my artist style as clear, feminine, and vibrant. I studied photography at the University of South Carolina, where I began to learn the ins and outs of the darkroom and shooting with 35mm, 120mm, and 4X5 film. I was honored to have my work accepted into the 6th Annual USC Photo Festival juried by Roger May and the 9th Annual USC Photo Festival juried by Meghan Gould. Some artists that inspired me while I was in school were Edward Weston, William Eggleston, and Nan Goldin. I am local to the Charleston area, and even though I have lived here for 13 years, I still discover new and amazing photo locations every day while I explore the city. I am also a make up and fashion enthusiast and have an incredible love for animals. So much love that I currently have two dogs, a cat, and a snake at home. They keep me company while I edit.
