 Glory has worked in the wedding industry baking, creating & delivering works of art with a passion for perfection in Northern Michigan for over 25 years before retiring her business in 2015.   Throughout her career she has stacked and sculpted hundreds of cakes with an emphasis on wedding cakes.

Shortly after relocating to Florida in June of 2021, Glory decided to license Pretty And Sweet Cakes   "My vision for this new business is to bring with me my northern hospitality (The best thing I learned from living in Northern Michigan!), experience and all the unique ingredients I found traveling abroad to bring my sweet creations to life.

""Briefly stepping way 8 years ago and changing career paths made me realize how much I loved baking & the creative outlet it gave me.  Typical case of the grass is not always greener on the other side!  My travels also inspired me to start again.   The untraditional & clean styles of those I connected with over seas was eye opening!  If your looking for a "simple cake" I am probably not your cup of tea & I am not afraid to let you know that.  I believe you can truly see a lot of someone's personality traits through their work.  I love the entire process of baking, creating and the amazing people I get to work with!  I have formed bonds & friendships with many and have been fortunate to watch their families grow.  I look forward to meeting new faces in Florida!"
