Hi, I’m Tara Robertson, the owner and photographer behind Tara Beth Photography. My journey into photography started with a passion for storytelling and capturing life’s most meaningful moments. After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I launched my business with a simple goal: to celebrate love in all its forms and create images that feel authentic and timeless.

I specialize in wedding and engagement photography, with a focus on LGBTQ+ couples. My approach is deeply empathetic, as I believe that vulnerability fosters connection. I strive to create a space where my clients feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable enough to be their true selves. That’s when the magic happens—when I can capture the genuine, unguarded moments that tell their unique stories.

Over the years, my work has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, and BRIDES. These recognitions mean a lot, but what truly fulfills me is knowing I’ve created something meaningful for the couples who trust me with their memories.

On a personal note, I’m married to my incredible wife, Vanessa, and together we’re raising our two amazing children, Atlas and Delta. My family is my anchor and constant source of inspiration. Being a wife and mother has deepened my understanding of love and commitment, and I bring that perspective into my work every day.

For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures—it’s about celebrating life, connection, and the beautiful, messy, heartfelt moments that make us who we are. I feel so honored to do what I do and to be a part of so many incredible love stories.
