About Violet Cake Co.

Malissa Sanfilippo, a native San Diegan, started Violet Cake Co. in 2020 making wedding and birthday cakes for friends and family. Having graduated from the School of Fine Art at USC, Malissa decided to combine her passion for art with her love of baking and soon after, Violet Cake Co. opened its doors. We specialize in all kinds of cakes, from anniversaries and birthdays to showers and wedding cakes. In terms of style, we do classic, traditional, contemporary and modern designs. Each cake we create starts with the customer's idea for what they want and together with our expertise we produce beautiful cakes of which we are very proud. Craftsmanship and customer service are key. Our goal is to make our customers happy and to leave them with a memory that will last a lifetime.
