About Weddings by Trey

My name is Trey, a wedding photographer in the great state of Texas. I don't have an accent, but I do say y'all sometimes. My passion for photography came at a young age when I started to preserve the moments I was only able to experience once. Later, after many years of growing my skills, I transitioned over to wedding photography to serve people and capture the beautiful imagery of two becoming one. 
I am a father of three crazy fun boys, married to the best supporting wife who got me addicted to coffee. I love action movies, trying new foods, traveling anywhere I can, and I always enjoy a great dad joke. Fashion is something I am learning more about. I too like to look good on a wedding day, so expect me to dress my best. 
As a former groom who had a sub-par wedding and photography experience, I have made it my personal goal to ensure that you don't hire a day-of photographer. Instead, you need a photographer who obsesses over the details, who has been where you are now, and who cares about your stories. It's not just about photos for my portfolio, it's about your overall wedding photography experience. When I started Weddings by Trey it was and is my goal to capture the moments you can't get back and to guide you through all the details to ensure that not only everything looks good from a visual perspective, but that every important moment is captured.
