Garey House, nestled in the Texas Hill Country, is a romantic retreat that beautifully intertwines the rugged charm of nature with the refined elegance of Tuscany. Located just a short drive from downtown Austin, this captivating venue is bordered by the San Gabriel River and set within the sprawling 525-acre Garey Park, providing a breathtaking backdrop for any celebration. The Garey House property features several unique ceremony and reception options with a spacious patio, immaculate landscaping and a lush event lawn that overlooks a pond and waterfall. 

The Event Lawn and Patio are primarily used for cocktail hour, however this location is spectacular when set for a ceremony, or even dinner under the stars. The Terrace offers a stunning backdrop for your ceremony, with seating for up to 200 guests facing the pergola or the pond. It's also a great choice for a dance floor, as it includes a built in stage for a band or DJ. Just beyond the pergola is the Terrace Green. Complete with all weather turf and festoon lighting, the Terrace Green makes for an ideal setting for family style dining.

The Great Room welcomes guests with twenty-foot-high ceilings and rough-sawn beams, arched windows, Saltillo tiles, and an elevated stage. In the Meeting Room, wood bookcases can showcase personal photos, while a stone fireplace provides a lovely backdrop for wedding cakes or a photo op. The Hall features limestone walls and arched windows, enhanced by three retractable glass walls that seamlessly connect to the outdoor space. With elegant chandeliers, an integrated sound system, and dimmable lighting, it’s a versatile setting, regardless of weather conditions. The Hall can seat up to 200 attendees for an indoor ceremony or reception.

Garey House offers two light- filled dressing suites designed to make preparation a joyful and memorable experience.  Both suites include private restrooms for convenience, along with full-length mirrors and vanity stations provide the perfect space for those final touches before you walk down the aisle.
