Meadow Ridge Farm was founded in the late 19th century by a Manhattan-based financier who commuted by boat to the property's river beachfront. Covering 100 acres alongside the Hudson, with views of the Berkshire and Catskill mountain ranges that define the Hudson Valley, the farm features meadows of golden grain, woods of black walnut, oak and pine trees, landscaped natural streams and a pond. Its gardens and allées of red maple trees give the farm four seasons of brilliant color and natural charm. The property offers multiple ceremony locations, including a beautiful wooded glade surrounded by towering trees and the Hudson River just beyond where you take your vows. The Farm's original English-Dutch style dairy barn, one of the largest of its kind in the northeast, has been meticulously restored and lavishly updated to create an ideal event venue with seating for up to 300 people. Extensive dry-stack stone walls support the barn and create a dramatic entryway. A large blue-stone terrace with open vistas of meadows, the Hudson and the Berkshires is a few steps away, allowing guests to make full use of the rural setting.
