A Wedding for Erica and Nathan

Daniel Island Club in Charleston, South Carolina

Wedding Vendor Team

Karen Porecca of Simply Eventful Charleston was our wedding planner. We hired her for the week of. While Karen was a nice woman, we did not think she managed the details of our wedding well. Ultimately, I think she needed a better/larger staff, so would advise to clarify that before working with anyone.

We absolutely loved working with Dana for our wedding photography. The moments she captured were beautiful and she was so generous with her time as we prepared for the special day. We also did our engagement and day after pictures with her - all of them were incredible!

OK Florist was easy to work with but in the end the flowers didn't meet my expectations for the look we were going for. However, they were reasonably priced.

We LOVED Kristy from KLC! She was so great to work with - very kind, professional, and talented. She shot our wedding and then we recommended her to a friend who got married a month after us. Both videos were amazing! The cinematography was beyond what we saw from anyone else and we will cherish the work forever.

We LOVED the Daniel Island Club. Elizabeth and Erin were perfect partners in helping us plan and we loved the staff that assisted the day of the wedding. The setting was beautiful but the staff made it all perfect. Transportation by Lowcountry Loop Trolley, rentals from EventWorks, & Lighting by Charleston Uplighting

The cake was delicious, but be warned they do not do complicated designs well. The cake looked really bad. My recommendation is to keep it simple with Publix.

I loved working with John Scott. He has a shop in downtown Charleston at 698 Rutledge Ave. He doesn't advertise much, I found him through word of mouth, but he is wonderful. John was very easy to work with, took great care of my hair, and was there to help in any way we needed during the wedding.

Unique Attraction performed as the a cappella group at our wedding. They were beyond amazing! Honestly, we were so thrilled to find them. They are talented, modern, and very professional. We love a cappella groups but couldn't find many modern ones like Pentatonix - Unique Attraction was perfect and memorable.

I think shoes were the last thing I found. I wanted something with a bit of Beyonce sparkle but all the class a wedding deserves. I believe they still carry this sparkle look in various styles.

Our bridesmaid dresses were by Da Vinci Bridal. The dresses were pretty but the hems were not the best quality and the sizing was pretty limited so I wouldn't recommend for tall or curvy women.

This was a good option for the groomsmen. Decent styles and great prices. We went with the Vera Wang line. They are also great at making changes as needed for fits 24 hrs before the big day.

Charleston Tuxedo had a great selection for my husband. He was looking for a specific style that we couldn't find at Men's Warehouse or anywhere else. We so appreciated their style!
