About Addy Rae Photography LLC

I'm a California born, Kansas raised girl living in Pennsylvania! Wife, dog mom, wedding photographer, dress fluffer, best friend, and boy mom, are just a few of the titles that I go by. I have been photographing the best moments for almost 10 years, and have enjoyed every second of it. I started my journey in film when I was in high school. I once won a first place award at an art show that granted me a scholarship for photography. I decided to decline the scholarship to move to California, and I never regretted it. I moved to California when I was 18 and spent three amazing years there.  I took multiple film and portfolio development courses in college. I used to jam out to the first taylor swift album and loose track of time in the dark room.  When I switched to digital I always dreamed about going back to the dark room. I picked up a medium format camera four years ago ( with some encouragement from my fellow photog friend), and I am so happy to be back in the film world. 

I started second shooting in 2011 and have been photographing weddings. engagements, and lifestyle sessions ever since I moved to Pennsylvania in 2018, and immediately jumped into the market here. Since moving here I have met the most amazing couples and the best vendors. 

My favorite part of my job is getting to know my clients. Don't be surprised if we end up in a deep conversation about the shows we are binging or where you are going on your honeymoon. I LOVE to hear about what you do, the things you like, and anything else you want to talk about.
