Adornment & Theory is an award winning independent jewelry store founded in 2017 by Viviana Langhoff, a fine jeweler with a mission to curate a collection of exceptional high quality jewelry with a story; all created by Black, brown, indigenous, and women identifying designers from across the globe. In addition to the 50+ emerging artists we represent, we feature Viviana's collection of engagement rings and fine jewelry in store and online. Viviana creates intricate vintage inspired contemporary jewelry and one-of-a-kind custom designs. Drawn to the idea of an heirloom, Viviana is absolutely enamored with the romantic idea of designing work that can be passed down for generations. She creates highly detailed beautiful metal work, drawing inspiration from cultures all over the world while using fair trade and ethically sourced materials. Viviana's style is a mix of unique, vintage inspired pieces in unexpected hues. She loves using colored gemstones, as she thinks they've been overlooked for far too long, and are a beautiful alternative for women who want something beyond diamonds.
