My dream of being an event planner started from being a part of a big family who knows how to live, laugh, love, life. My family has been a part of the wedding and catering scene in New Orleans since the 1950s and has risen through the ranks of this competitive field throughout the years. I have learned from the best of the best. I have been steadfast with my goals and participated in the Walt Disney World College Program which allowed me to take part in a few weddings at the Grand Floridian. After completing my education with Walt Disney World, my focus only grew stronger and I continued to work on getting my degree in Hospitality and worked with local event planning companies in the New Orleans area. Through this work I have established professional working relationships with many vendors. The best moment of planning a event is seeing the faces of those who have dreamt of that day the minute the doors open. The reaction to seeing for the first time their dream become a reality is priceless. As you can see there is a theme going on here. . . family. . . the name of my company comes from an old family saying that many generations have used on wedding days. "Blue Skies" is a way of saying congratulations and best of luck in your life as a married couple. What is better than "Blue Skies"? This is one of the most important days in your life and who better to take care of that than someone who will see you as family?
