About Brasscals

We are Brasscals, Santa Barbara’s street brass band. We are a group of roughly 13 musicians ages 19 to 85, and we play a wide variety of upbeat pieces ranging from New Orleans jazz and jazz standards to klezmer, songs in Spanish, new brass renditions of modern pop songs and more. Our set is lively, and unbridled joyful dancing is a typical response to it.
