BWEDDINGS is a boutique luxury wedding planning and design firm led by Barbara Vanni, born and raised in Genova, Italy. From our home base in Chicago, we plan celebrations across Italy, Lake Como, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Rome and beyond, and here at home in Chicago and on the North Shore.

Italy is not a destination we visit. It is where our founder grew up, speaks the language, and where our Italian office works with a trusted network of venues and vendors. Our couples get Italy the way Italians live it, planned with American precision.

We accept a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets our full attention. Full-service planning and design, partial planning, and wedding management, each celebration designed around the couple's story, never a template.

Do you plan multicultural or multi-faith weddings?

Yes. We plan multicultural and multi-faith celebrations, including Indian, Iranian and Italian weddings, and we work in English, Italian and Spanish.
Do you take on many weddings each year?

No. BWEDDINGS is a boutique firm and accepts a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple receives our full attention.
How do we get started?

What does wedding planning cost?

Wedding coordination begins at $4,500, partial planning begins at $8,500, and full-service planning and design begins at $15,000. Your final proposal is tailored to your wedding's scope after a consultation.

Where are you based, and do you plan destination weddings?

BWEDDINGS is based in Chicago and plans weddings across Chicago and the North Shore. Through our Italian office, we also plan destination weddings across Italy, including Lake Como, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Venice, Florence, Umbria, Lake Garda and the Italian Riviera. Our founder, Barbara Vanni, was born and raised in Genova, Italy.
