I have always had a deep passion for crafting and writing short stories, and I believe that every ceremony deserves to be beautifully articulated & special. With this philosophy in mind I founded Celebrations by Shelby, and have since gained many valuable connections with industry-leading experts and vendors. I hold my clients and their ceremony aspirations with the utmost respect, the heart of my planning process is to bring your vision to life.

It has been a privilege and delight to marry over 100 couples throughout my career. I am ordained through the Universal Life Church, and I am a certified Meditation instructor by The Mindry.

Celebrations by Shelby is proudly a woman-owned company, welcoming all religions, races, and sexualities. Based in New York City, Celebrations By Shelby will work closely with you to get to know you and your partners’ personalities, love story, and desires prior to your wedding day. Whether your ceremony is virtually or in-person, my finger will be on the pulse of your entire celebration.
