Tiziana was absolutely incredible and I can not stress enough about the importance of choosing the right Celebrant, it makes all the difference! Tiziana had very in depth phone calls with us and accommodated the time difference with ease as we are located in Canada and she in Italy. She spent hours talking to not only us, but our closest friends & family, researched our socials, and managed to perfectly capture who we are. She was very quick writing up the script, and after reading it we were absolutely blown away. Not only did she capture our love story perfectly, but managed to understand our humour and quirks in a way I truly didn’t expect. About Celebrant Dr. Tiziana Di Molfetta

An Italian lay celebrant based in Florence, willing to reach you all over Italy, from Tuscany to Lake Como, from Venice to Rome, from the Amalfi Coast to Lake Garda and Puglia, and so on!

Communication, empathy, and expressive skills are her main characteristics.

Her keywords are: “It’s your ceremony!” Tiziana will be happy to accommodate your every wish to create the ceremony you desire, specifically designed for you.

She is available for symbolic weddings, civil weddings, elopements, same-sex civil unions, and vow renewals and can officiate in English, German, and Italian.

A lover of languages and the study of international cultures, Tiziana boasts a long experience in the field of organization and performance of high-level ceremonies. She is a former career diplomat, now retired to a private life on the Florentine hills, after an 18-year service in embassies and consulates abroad, in which she held the positions of Consul and Deputy Ambassador, and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, where she also served in the Diplomatic Protocol of the Italian Republic and in the Legal Affairs Dept.

Having retired to a private life with her family, she made her passion for writing and ceremonies her new profession, winning literary awards and becoming an author (of poetry books), as well as a celebrant. She extended her expertise to symbolic weddings and rituals (having already celebrated many legally binding ones, as Italian Consul abroad) and enrolled in the Wedding Industry Academy in Rome, where she got her diploma of Wedding Ceremony Master & Wedding Officiant.

Given her very special experience in highly representative environments, as well as her new profession as an author, she writes and officiates unique and completely bespoke ceremonies. The quality of her work is of the utmost importance to her. Therefore, if you choose her as your celebrant, you will find yourself in excellent hands!
