Hi, I’m Myke, the guy behind the lens at Focus Video. I’ve spent the last five years capturing weddings throughout Northern California, including Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and beyond. I’m passionate about turning one of the most emotional and joyful days of your life into a beautifully told film that you’ll want to watch again and again.

My style is documentary with a cinematic touch. I focus on telling the real story of your wedding day as it happens, without forcing moments or turning it into a staged production. From heartfelt vows to spontaneous dance moves and everything in between, I’m there to capture it all naturally. I also make it a priority to help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether that means cracking a joke or helping ease last-minute nerves, I aim to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free.

I offer full-day coverage so that no important part of your story is missed. From the quiet getting-ready moments to the final song of the night, every chapter of your day matters. One of my most memorable experiences was filming a wedding where the groom realized he had left his tux in another state. Instead of panic, we shared some laughs and kept the mood light. By the time the ceremony started, the tux was the last thing on anyone's mind. That’s the kind of energy I bring to every wedding.
