James Christianson and Otto Schulze have each spent twenty years photographing weddings, the last ten as partners. Together they are James x Schulze, a luxury destination wedding photography studio named among the Best Wedding Photographers in the World by Harper's Bazaar and featured in Vogue, the New York Times, and Forbes.

Their approach is quiet. They read the room, they don't direct, and they don't interrupt, because the moments worth keeping almost never happen on cue. They happen in the ten seconds before the ceremony begins, in the look across the room nobody else caught, in the way someone laughs when they think no one is watching. Blending editorial, documentary, and fine art photography, they build a record of the day that's honest rather than posed.
