About Lindsey Hook Calligraphy & Pen Arts

I am an independent calligrapher, pen maker and artist based in Chicago. Calligraphy is a family tradition that goes back four generations beginning with my great grandfather, J. F. Hook, who was a professor of Business and Ornamental Penmanship at Temple University in his time. I draw upon this history, along with my own love for calligraphy and the visual arts, to create handcrafted work for my clients that gives their events a special, personal touch, and provides them with unique, tangible mementos to cherish and build memories around. I offer a wide variety of calligraphic and lettering services including common needs like envelope and escort card addressing, as well as spot calligraphy and design for invitations, cards, and certificates.
