My dad died when I was 6 years old and I don't have a single memory of him. I'm pretty sure that's why I've always told stories. They filled in the gaps where memory failed me. Stories have the power to move us, connect us and to shape our lives. We make sense of the world and create meaning of it from the stories we tell. Photography is a way for me to connect with people and help them hold on to their own stories a little bit longer. I help couples, and their families fully experience their wedding day and document it authentically so they can relive some of the biggest moments of their lives. These tangible, fleeting moments mean everything as memories fade and the photographs are all that is left. They’re proof that love existed.
