About Penelope L’amore

I take an artful and genuine approach to my photography. I specialize in shooting medium format film along with digital as a perfect union, as this provides a unique quality and look to the images I produce. My mother invested in a quality camera when I was young and I been shooting film ever since. Establishing my full-time professional photography company in January 2014, I love the authenticity, softness and outstanding colors produced by film and the finely tuned precision, flexibility and speed of digital. My images have been described as described as a story book romantic feel with an editorial and genuine approach. My goal is to capture an elegant, luminous and timeless feel to your personal story through my images.
 

I am currently based in Austin, Texas with my Husband, my two young children Eisley and Elias Oswin and our cat Ren. We love traveling for pleasure and work. Truly when traveling to photograph the wedding of a lovely couple those two are combined and we appreciate those couples who let us see the world along with them. 
 

My work has been featured in Bride's of Austin blog and magazine, The Knot Magazine and more. I have also been rewarded the couples choice award by my couples from The Knot. Chosen Preferred Vendor of Once Wed and Brides of Austin and more as well.
