The Harpers are a husband and wife wedding photography and videography team creating thoughtful, documentary driven imagery for celebrations in Colorado, the United Kingdom, Europe, and destinations around the world. Their work blends honest storytelling with an editorial eye, capturing the moments that unfold naturally while preserving the atmosphere, emotion, and artistry of each wedding day.

After spending more than a decade each in the fashion and fine art photography industries, Joe and Kaila Harper brought their shared passion for storytelling into weddings. Joe, originally from England, studied Fine Art Photography and developed his love for film photography in the darkroom, while Kaila's career in fashion took her across New York, Paris, Milan, and London. Together, those experiences shaped an approach they are known for today, artful and honest.

Working with a blend of digital photography, 35mm and medium format film, and nostalgic Super 8 motion picture film, they create imagery that feels timeless, cinematic, and full of life. Rather than directing every moment, they focus on documenting each celebration as it naturally unfolds, allowing couples to be fully present with the people they love most.

The Harpers are drawn to weddings that feel intentional and personal, whether it's an intimate garden gathering, a countryside estate, a mountain celebration, or a destination weekend abroad. They work with couples who value genuine connection over perfection and want photographs and films that feel honest today and even more meaningful decades from now.
